Hey, VA!
As you already know, Virginia has statewide elections in 2025 and it’s time to start getting ready and make sure that turnout is high and all votes are counted. To make that happen, it’s time to tune in and learn more about the challenges and the road to success that we face. Join this event to learn all about it:
Voter Protection in 2025: New Challenges & The Road to Virginia
Tuesday, April 15 | 5:30–7:00 PM ET
Virginia’s 2025 elections will be the most important statewide test of our democracy infrastructure under the new Trump administration and will set the stage for 2026 and beyond. Our best defense will come from building voter protection infrastructure now. Voter Protection Corps is convening a new webinar on April 15 with leading voices on voter protection in 2025, with a focus on Virginia.
Speakers include:
Justin Levitt — Constitutional law scholar and former senior White House advisor for voting rights, who will provide analysis on the Trump Executive Order.
Tram Nguyen — Co-Executive Director of New Virginia Majority, who has helped register over 300,000 voters and transform Virginia’s electorate.
Nico Walker — Deputy Voter Protection Director at the Virginia Democrats, who led poll observing operations across the Commonwealth and will share lessons from the ground.
You’ll also hear from Voter Protection Corps leadership about how our community can meet this moment — and what resources, partnerships, and strategies we need to win the fight in Virginia.
This event is for everyone who’s worked to protect voters — and knows the threats we’re up against. Together, we’ll strategize, share intelligence, and lay the groundwork to protect democracy in 2025 and beyond.
More to come as we head toward these crucial elections!
